What Would Make My Guests More Comfortable?

We are paying for our guests (about 70 people varying from ages 13-85 with the medium age around 30) to take a 7 night 8 day trip to London with us for our wedding.
So far we have;
- Managed to secure a private plane (its actually half as much to charter a plane compared to buying uncomfortable, longer commercial flights),
- Get hotel rooms in a comfortable hotel (The Landmark of London).
- Got luxury buses to get them to and from all the places they need to go (airport to the hotel, to the wedding and back, etc)What Would Make My Guests More Comfortable?
- Purchased London Pass Card with Travel (for the buses, underground, and any public transportation. Also this card gives them discounts, or free entrance to tons of things around the city)
- Paid for Breakfast and tea at the hotel every day.
- Have a hold with a company to purchase pay as you go cell phones for the week for everyone
- Planned out bags for the plane to keep everyone occupied and happy, food, magazines, mp3 players, books, etc (6 hour flight)

  1. Sounds amazing and you are doing so much for them…. Just one detail - make sure you give them all enough notice for anyone who needs to get a passport! Also, if you have any divorced parents attending with children you might want to give them a call - they will typically need a notarized letter from the other parent to take the children out of the country.

  2. Uhmm Can I come? So nice of you to fly everyone. May I suggest getting together a list of restaurants with descriptions of their menus. Also local shopping areas, museums, historical places. Maps of the area. Good Luck.
Also make sure they have access to plug converters or adapters. For blowdryers and such?

  3. Are you kidding!!! I think you have done more than enough!!! If your friends arent happy with that they wont be happy with anything! Seriously, they are there to spend time with you and share in your joy, you have already provided a lot - if they want any more i reckon they should cover the cost themselves.

  4. this is MORE than enough. Really. I cant believe that ya’ll are doing all this for your guests.
Congrats on your wedding and it seems that you have it all planned out. Anyone who argues or complains during your joyous occasion is not a grateful person AT ALL!
Can I be one of your guests? lol.

  5. Nikki the Wedding Planner & B2B

I think you have far covered everything they need.
Maybe send passport applications with the invite incase they dont already have one!
local map of area and places maked to go like meseums, restaurants and what not
a list of places for cash exchange

  6. I don’t think they could expect anymore than what you are already doing. Sounds like you are going way above and beyond! It also sounds like you’ve got everything covered. Relax! Try to enjoy! And by the way, Congratulations!

  10. I think you are doing everything perfectly already. I mean … Wow! I would LOVE to be a guest at your wedding.

  11. You’ve done more than enough. As a guest, everything you are doing is above and beyond what I would expect.

  12. fizzy stuff

I am so not fussy when I travel.. honestly cant think of anything else they would need! The special treats instead of the mini bar is a very nice touch by the way.

  13. Sounds like you are going above and beyond. Can I be a guest at your wedding? Sounds like a blast!

  14. wow wow what a nice wedding

  15. Now all you have to do is meet them :) and make them feel welcome :). but WOW! i mean…i wanna be a guest too :)

  16. I was remembering my first trip to London - it’s a big city. I loved the “hop on hop off” bus tour a lot - it was great. One of the Eyewitness Pocket Guides to London (the one’s with pictures) would be great, so when they go to see the sites, they will have the info with them. Make sure they get a “Time Out” also - so they know what’s going in - and also where to find dinner - food can be so expensive in London & hard to find too. Oh, and everyone wants to go to Harrods for shopping!
Sounds like a wonderful wedding - best wishes!

  17. Honey, I am happy for you and this wonderful day. But let me give you a reality check. Making comments on here (or anywhere on the internet) about how rich you are is DANGEROUS. Someone can easily track down your identity and steal it. Identity thieves search the web for postings like this!!! Good luck with you wedding and next time, be more discrete. I’m only saying this for your protection. Take care.

  18. Hey email me and I’ll give you my address so you can send me a ticket to go with you LOL. Really your going to enjoy your wedding very much it sounds like. You have went above and beyond. Do you have a wedding coordinator? This way you can sit back and really enjoy the friends and family without any stress being on you. Have a wonderful time and best of wishes.

  19. Oh my gosh I love you and I want to be part of your family! Please! You are awesome - you are doing all that for 70 people?!?! It must be costing a fortune!
Wow…..I am just totally in awe of this!
Almost forgot to answer your question — I would be totally comfortable and would not need another thing! You have gone far out of your way as it is.
