“On the eleventh of July, you, along with your brother and cousins are departing from Detroit to Miami where you will board your cruise ship,” my father answered.
“Miami…here we come!” I said excitedly.
The beautiful palm trees, the sun on my back, the crisp breeze, Miami was like heaven on earth. There were beautiful parks with vibrant flowers surrounding the gardens. It was so open and breathtaking. I was awestruck with the beauty of Miami’s greenery. We toured the city’s hot spots such as Miami South Beach and Miami’s Coral Castle. Finally, it was time to board the ship!
If Miami was beautiful than the cruise ship was enthralling! As soon as we entered the ship in the evening, we were exposed to the vibrant lightings and grand size. Everywhere we looked there were a variety of luxuries to experience. From casinos to princess theatres of full scale Broadway shows, from spacious outdoor pools to a professional outdoor jogging track, twenty four hour bistros to relaxing days at the spa…all fit to a ship in the middle of the ocean! It was my dream come true!
The ships destinations were not only Miami. The cruise ship sailed us to Grand Cayman Islands and the remarkable Jamaica! In Grand Cayman my favourite part was when we were at the beach and rode sea doo’s! The beach was mesmerizing with its pristine, turquoise water and white sandbar. There were many coral rocks of different shapes and sizes strewn across the beach. The sea doo ride was exhilarating! Water splashed in my face and the sensation was thrilling!
The excitement and thrill of Grand Cayman was long over when we stepped onto the striking land of Jamaica! If I thought the sea doo was dangerous, than the climb up Jamaica’s Dunn River Falls was deadly.
Dunn’s River Falls is located in a tropical forest and consists of a number of waterfalls which flow over rock terraces down to the Caribbean Sea below. We were able to climb the falls in a human chain led by skilled tour guides and we were fortunate enough to reach the top where we could enjoy unobstructed views of the surrounding areas. Besides the fact of its scenic beauty, the falls were really steep and slippery and major injuries could occur either because of the water pushing you off or just by the slip of a foot!
Although, we were enjoying Jamaica, it was time for us to head back to the ship. When we reached the port, the captain was standing outside on the dock and he said to us, “The ship has been delayed due to some certain circumstances so we have to stay in Jamaica for another day. We will be departing tomorrow morning at 7:30.”
We decided to explore Jamaica some more, while we had the opportunity. The people of Jamaica have a laid-back personality and are always with a ready smile to help. They threw us all a feast, with dancing, games, and about 30 barbeques spitting and sizzling in a synchronized manner. We were able to engage in their culture, wonderful food, and nightlife on the beach. It was absolutely amazing. Alas, our trip had to come to an end, but it was definitely a worthwhile experience to undertake and I hope to go again soon!

recently. I came to stay with her and her husband. She is irresponsible and is constantly in debt! She just buys things! She and her husband are on a budget, yet she has strawberry jam with champagne and luxury coffee for breakfast. She has a spending problem. I went grocery shopping with her, to be useful and give her budget tips, and she didn’t even listen. She bought three boxes of jasmine tea which she can’t stand because they were giving a free tea infuser if you buy three; two glossy magazines which could be had in a library for free; a bag of packed apples when she could buy them loose and save twenty pence; orange juice in a pack - you can get the same benefit from a glass of tap water and a bottle of vitamin C; and two expensive waffle-makers! She is unemployed. I tried to stop her, and to help her. I even talked to her husband Luke - he agreed that it was not easy to live with her. What should I do?
Why would you stay in a relationship that the guy beats you and treats you like ****. I dont care if you think you can change him. Why do women try to make a guy out to be something he is not cause if he has already stooped to that level of hitting you then you should leave him no questions asked. Ok i know im gonna get heat for this and first and foremost this has nothing to do with race so that argument is out the window! I recently was talking to one of my friends about the T.I. swing ya rag video being stopped by LV and gucci. He said that he thought it was bullshit but i couldn’t disagree more. For one the “rag” is a damn women’s scarf and is not meant to be worn on your face, or thrown out your pocket like a gang rag, even though it is a clever idea and i respect him for having that Rappers/celebrities Designer Brands?”swagger” even though T.I. didn’t think that up. and why would you want your luxury brand that is notorious for being elegant and classy worn by some trashy 8 time felon like T.I.? This whole wrapping pistols up in gucci scarfs and gucci suitcases full of drugs wtf? That goes completely against what the company stands for. I am so tired of looking for gucci forums and stuff on google and getting all these gucci mane results for trap mixtapes and all that bs and i know for a fact he owns fake items! The sunglasses in freaky girl that he has on ARE fake!!! They never made them in that color and i found them on a website for under 150. I think the main reason it makes me so mad is because when i was in high school everyone used to talk trash about me because i had a lot of designer stuff and was disgustingly into my self apperance and would go shopping with girls and everyone said i was “gay”. Which i dont care what anyone thinks but now the same people are asking where i got my shoes (from the lv store dumbass where else??) and i’m like weren’t you making fun of me like a year ago because gucci is a purse manufactuer and you wouldn’t be caught dead in it? When i would carry my gucci messenger bag to school people would be like look at this fool he got a purse. Now everyone thinks its totally cool now and thinks im a “wigger” because of it, lol i think this is a result of hip hop glorifying gucci and i’ve had it for 4 years!!! This is not even mainly aimed towards all rappers because i dont care if kanye west is wearing it the dude has some mad fashion sense!
